So, although we think we know all about those 4 guys, we really don't. We must assume that Paul has a pal or two like this as well. He's NEVER been mentioned or photographed before. Recently I met a friend of Ringo's who is still his best pal. Yet we found out following George's death that he and Arthur had stayed close friends until the end. Stu of course, was actually in The Beatles and so there are photos and accounts of his days with them, and Astrid and Klaus and Jurgen to place him in the history of the group.Ĭontrast this with another late Beatle, George- there's two photos of him as a kid with another lad, Arthur Kelly (the actor). All important to Lennon yet some not part of his public story. Lindy Ness, easily his closest platonic female friend, none.
